                                Jeez. So difficult to take a photo of this butterfly! I went to the 

                                Monarch Butterfly sanctuary in Monterey last year, unfortunately

                                I did not have the right camera. This one I saw today, not a Monarch 

                                but a Tagpfauenauge (in German).

                                There is a really nice purple colour in the middle.
